KarBel Multimedia offers infographics, data visualizations, graphics design, interactive graphics, animated infographics and website development to our clients. We employ veteran visual journalists with a combined experience of more than 25 years producing infographics. Belinda and Karsten Ivey gained their experience working in graphics departments at various newspapers around the country and now work for the South Florida Sun Sentinel, a company known for stunning visual projects, as well as breaking the mold in interactive graphics.

Belinda Ivey is a former senior graphics reporter for the South Florida Sun Sentinel, where she’s reported, illustrated and designed a variety of daily, enterprise and multimedia graphics since 2003. A journalist since high school, Belinda’s career has sling-shot her from the halls of the University of Florida to the design and graphic departments of the Philadelphia Inquirer, the Baltimore Sun and the Arizona Republic. Belinda is the president of the Florida chapter of Asian American Journalists Association and a Chips Quinn scholar.

Karsten Ivey is the former assistant graphics director for the South Florida Sun Sentinel. He began his career at the Florida Times-Union in his hometown of Jacksonville as a graphic artist in 1995. In 2001, he moved to the Sun-Sentinel to be a senior graphics reporter, producing graphics for print and the Web. He has taught many beginning Flash and informational graphics classes for high school students, college students and professional journalists.
