BELINDA IVEY

A journalist since high school, Belinda’s award-winning career has sling-shot her from the halls of the University of Florida to the design and graphic departments of the Philadelphia Inquirer, the Baltimore Sun, the Arizona Republic and the South Florida Sun Sentinel. Belinda is also a part-time lecturer at the University of Miami’s School of Communication, where she has taught multimedia design and infographics to undergraduate students.
KARSTEN IVEY
Infographic Designer / Partner
Throughout his journalism career, Karsten won many awards for his infographics, design and interactive infographic work. He has taught many Flash and infographics classes for high school students, college students and professional journalists. Karsten is the former award winning assistant graphics director for the South Florida Sun Sentinel. He is also the Region 3 director and board member for the Society of News Design.
HIRAM HENRIQUEZ
Infographic Designer
Hiram’s career includes two decades at the South Florida Sun Sentinel, National Geographic magazine, and The Miami Herald, where he garnered two Pulitzer Prizes for Team Reporting. Hiram’s skills in 3D modeling, vector and hand-drawn illustrations, as well as design lend great depth to KarBel Multimedia. He has taught numerous informational graphics classes for high school and college students, as well as fellow journalists.
